What we offer: Competitive hourly pay $20Min-$25Max Full time: Monday: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday: 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Wednesday Off, Thursday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 1:30 pm Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability benefits 401(k) plan Support for continuing education and professional development Modern office with advanced dental technology Responsibilities: Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications: Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program - Preferred 1 year on-the-job-experience X-Ray certification - Preferred High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
