Firmware Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer experience with algorithm and data-flow design.
• We value experience across a variety of microprocessor families.
• We prefer experience with Nvidia Jetson modules.
• We value the ability to read schematics and component datasheets.
• We prefer TCP/IP and/or UDP programming experience.
• We value programming experience in Matlab, Python, or another rapid development language.
• We prefer signal processing or communications experience.
• We consider software DSP in C++, high performance computing, GPU computing, sonar and/or radar systems, and experience with USB or PCI bus technologies as strong advantages.
• We require a bachelors degree.
• We require at least 3 years of firmware experience.
• We require the ability to be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• We develop low-level firmware for custom boards and systems.
• We work on software for devices ranging from simple microcontrollers to advanced multiprocessor systems.
• We create software that operates very close to the hardware.
• We build solutions involving custom communication links for telemetry and embedded sonar systems.
• We take products from initial system architecture through prototyping on development boards.
• We implement final firmware and carry the design through lab testing and verification.
