Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience accepted
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open background case findings or license hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the CVICU specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
