Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Unit position in Overland Park, KS, requiring at least one year of travel nursing experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Unit setting
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of travel nursing experience required
• Minimum one year of RN experience required
• NIHSS certification recommended but not required

Additional Information

• All RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or an approved declination are required
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
