HR Business Partner

Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and managers, including senior leaders, on organizational, leadership, and people matters Support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle Partner with Recruiting, Finance, Legal, and People team members as needed Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development Coach managers through performance, employee relations, and team dynamics Lead People work streams from idea through execution Provide recommendations, identify tradeoffs, and expose when needed Lead and improve performance management, manager effectiveness, performance reviews, engagement, and compensation programs Use people data, Rippling, and AI-enabled tools to identify insights and reduce manual work Identify trends and recurring challenges and turn insights into improvements to People practices, manager support, and employee experience Requirements 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner supporting technical or fast-moving organizations Track record of advising senior leaders across multiple functions Strong organizational design, workforce planning, and change management skills Experience owning performance and compensation cycles, including calibration and manager enablement Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals Good judgment navigating employee relations issues Comfort working in an HRIS and turning people data into a clear story for leaders Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust at every level Experience or genuine interest in applying AI to performance management, coaching, and manager training Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to work in the SF office 3x per week Legally authorized to work in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and performance management, leveraging people data and AI-enabled tools to enhance employee experience and manager effectiveness. Proven ability to advise senior leaders and navigate complex employee relations issues while fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.
