Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments on incoming patients to accurately identify their mental health needs and tailor individualized treatment plans. \n
- Actively communicate patient progress with multidisciplinary teams, including supervisors, direct care staff, and family members, ensuring a cohesive support network. \n
- Maintain an organized schedule of appointments, home visits, and client observations, regularly reviewing effectiveness in achieving treatment milestones. \n
- Coordinate home visit logistics, which include chart reviews, staff interviews, and observational data collection to ensure thorough patient evaluation. \n
- Ensure the proper implementation of treatment plans and ongoing adjustments as needed to maximize their effectiveness. \n
- Engage in collaborative Interdisciplinary Team meetings, contributing valuable insights from counseling observations. \n
- Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track patient development and treatment effectiveness. \n
- Organize training sessions for staff and volunteers, focusing on the procedures and documentation necessary for implementing treatment plans effectively. \n
- Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations, adapting services to fit the evolving needs of clients. \n
- Act as a liaison with the public and the broader mental health community, enhancing our presence and relationships within the community. \n
- Assist in the development and refinement of training materials to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. \n
In this role, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. Our patients seek support for issues ranging from stress and anxiety to trauma and substance misuse. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journey, fostering resilience through tailored counseling.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required. \n
- Possession of an active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Maryland. \n
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical counseling experience is necessary. \n
- Demonstrated experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable. \n
- Thorough understanding of legal, regulatory, and ethical standards within mental health practices. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- A collaborative mindset, showing capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. \n

- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and familiarity with related technologies are preferred. \n
- Expertise in the implementation of behavioral health practices and community outreach programs is advantageous. \n
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to employ during patient interactions. \n
The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual compensation of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and patient caseload.
