Piano instructor needed in San Antonio, FL

We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place! Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio location in the San Antonio, FL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP! Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. Please note that while we do get requests for webcam, they make up only a small percentage of our student base. Most of our students still prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or are willing to travel to students in the San Antonio, FL area. Key Responsibilities Teach private music lessons, primarily piano, in students’ homes, your own home or via webcam. Create and adapt curricula and lesson plans to meet student needs. Manage lesson scheduling, travel, and maintain punctuality. Communicate regularly with the Taylor Robinson Music office regarding lesson progress and any issues. Assist with student retention by providing engaging and effective instruction. Qualifications Independent contractor status with ability to set own schedule. Formal music training not mandatory, but must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience. Comfortable working with children and able to maintain good communication. Organized, reliable, and punctual for all lessons. Willingness to travel within the San Antonio, FL area. You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20–$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate.
