SUMMARY: Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiography Certificate Program or Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology. Experience One to three years of radiography experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, patient positioning techniques, and patient transfer practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, and a patient-centered approach to care. Understanding of age-specific developmental needs across pediatric and geriatric populations. Flexible and willing to work overtime, participate in on-call coverage, and rotate weekends as needed. Interest in supporting the training, orientation, and clinical education of radiography students in accordance with established clinical education program guidelines. Certifications & Licensure Current certification in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent certification, maintained through annual renewal.
