Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking an Allied / Tech - DIETICIAN for a travel position. The position will start on 08/24/2026 and end on 11/23/2026. The shift details are 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, with 5 shifts per week and 40 scheduled hours. The duration of the job order is 13 weeks.

The job description includes a 1Y/1STTIMER - Acute Care Exp WA LIC OT-Req. The position will float between units, with no on-call required and weekends required on a rotation of 1 weekend every 4 weeks. The expected patient ratios are 8-9 patients per day. Special requirements include having acute care experience and IPR experience would be great. Friendly, ethical worker with WA LIC in hand.

The hospital highlights include being a short term acute care / level III trauma center with 104 staffed beds and no fee for parking. The charting system used is Epic.

Job requirements and qualifications include previous charge experience, years of experience, patient ratio experience, and preferred charting system experience with Epic. Community hospital experience, LTAC experience, trauma level I and II experience, and travel experience are not required. Certifications required include WA LIC. Skills required include acute care, adult rehabilitation facility, edema massage, functional splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and static splints.

Unit details include staffing and scheduling with no specific scheduling type, patient ratios, or float required. Weekend coverage is not required. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Special procedures/unit details include acute disorder assessment, chronic disorder, and functional activities. Additional requirements include being flexible to go between all work areas, working as a team member, and picking up extra patients if patients come off of their initial schedules in order to reach or exceed productivity standards. Additional preferences include being friendly and outgoing to fit in with the fun and close team.

Special equipment required includes experience in an acute care setting. The hospital is a small rural hospital with an ICU, medical, surgery, and an in-house 8 bed inpatient rehab facility. It occasionally sees patients in same day surgery and in the emergency department. The candidate should be an independent, hard worker who does well with time management.

Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start. Last four of SSN RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved. MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR. Max of one job per submittal. Valid WA or Compact RN license (required at time of submission). Valid Allied license in hand (please ask AM if unsure). 50 mile local radius, Locals are accepted at a lower rate. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility. Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler. Must include response to the following from the candidate with submission: Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, please include location and dates worked. References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead. No Call-In: Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview that has been communicated by AM or PM. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
