Our partner firm, AbitOs, is hiring a Tax Associate to join its team in Boca Raton, Florida.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Tax Associate to support the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and international tax filings. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their technical tax knowledge, gain exposure to complex domestic and international matters, and build strong client relationships within a growing CPA firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Prepare and assist with tax forms including 1040, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, FBAR , and related filings.
• Review client financial information and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers.
• Assist with tax research, compliance, and client-related projects.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve questions, and support timely completion of engagements.
• Collaborate with Managers, Partners, and other team members while developing strong client and internal relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
• Understanding of accounting principles, including accrual and cash-basis accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations .
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous public accounting or tax experience .
• Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and/or international tax returns.
• Familiarity with UltraTax CS, CCH ProSystem, QuickBooks, and Practice CS .
• Exposure to international tax reporting, including Forms 5471, 5472, and FBAR .
