Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, considering their unique life circumstances. \n
- Work collaboratively with clients to create personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing their mental health challenges and aspirations. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients through their recovery journey. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and practical self-care strategies to empower them in their healing process. \n
- Monitor clients’ progress by maintaining detailed records and adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care, ensuring seamless integration of therapies. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance your skills and inform your practice. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including session notes and treatment plans. \n
- Contribute to team initiatives through active participation in case consultations and professional development sessions. \n
- Advocate for de-stigmatization of mental health issues and promote awareness about treatment and recovery. \n
Your client base will primarily consist of individuals grappling with mood disorders, encompassing conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying severity of symptoms, providing essential support during their most challenging times.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT, demonstrating a commitment to effective therapeutic practices. \n
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to enhance collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals involved in client care. \n
- Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. \n

- A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling, particularly with mood disorders. \n
- Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team environment. \n
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices. \n
The position offers an annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment to quality care. Additionally, you will receive:
