Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is currently available in a healthcare facility located in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for post-partum patients following vaginal or cesarean deliveries, including tubal ligation and circumcision procedures. The position requires a dedicated professional to support various obstetric and neonatal services with a focus on maternal and newborn health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRPS (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, and at least 1 year of travel experience are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-partum vaginal and cesarean delivery care, GYN surgeries, and neonatal support procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to NICU or L&D units.
• Additional Information:
  • Involves caring for adolescents, infants, and adults in a unit with 16 beds and a daily census.
  • Clinical responsibilities include monitoring patients with CPAP/BiPAP, blood and blood products administration, wound vac management, and the use of equipment such as epidural, PCA, and syringe pumps.
  • Must attend all deliveries and be familiar with special procedures including the administration of magnesium sulfate, heparin, and insulin.
  • Certification verification includes two references covering a total of one year within the last three years, with prior to start.
