Traffic Management Specialist Duties
As a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-2130-11 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of EOD and DP3 traffic management policies.
- Knowledge and ability to negotiate techniques and requirements associated with transportation rates and services.
- Broad knowledge of the operations, practices, and policies of the USTRANSCOM functional and program activities.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Surface Transportation Board transportation regulations, DOD, DA, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and USAF transportation policies and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of TSP industry practices and operations.
- Skill to plan, develop, and implement transportation systems or services that satisfy user requirements.
