TITLE: Cytotechnologist SCHEDULE: Evening Shift, Sun - Thurs, 2300 - 0830 ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Cytotechnology or equivalent: Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Cytology experience: Preferred
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histology Technician certification: Preferred ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform microscopic examinations of cell samples to detect changes indicative of disease.
- Prepare and stain cytological specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of analyses and findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss results and implications.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality assurance protocols.
