DSP Algorithms Engineer - SystemC - MATLAB - Optical Communications - Austin Lumicity are partnered with an exciting, fabless semiconductor startup that is shaped to revolutionize AI infrastructures and cloud connectivity through their DSP innovations. They are searching for an experienced DSP Engineer that will take ownership of designing, implementing and maintaining a full-system simulation environment in SystemC to model next-generation coherent optical transceivers. Responsibilities Take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining full-system simulation environments in SystemC to model next-generation coherent optical transceivers. Qualifications Practical experience building SystemC simulations for hardware design. Experienced with MATLAB DSP prototyping and translation to SystemC. Proven experience as an Algorithm Engineer who understands DSP design and modelling. Knowledge and experience of optical communication technologies. Previous experience leading and executing projects to a high quality, on time. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams. Any knowledge with verification methodologies (UVM / SystemVerilog) would be highly advantageous in this role.
