Senior Software Engineer - DPU Programming

Salary: $135,200 - 306,400 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• We need 12+ years of experience delivering distributed, mission-critical cloud services at scale.
• We expect strong coding and code review expertise in C/C++, Go, or similar languages.
• We require deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system-level optimization for performance and scale.
• We are seeking extensive experience with networking data-plane architectures, especially DPU-based designs.
• We value expertise in network virtualization, protocols, and distributed systems architecture.
• We are looking for proven experience leading operationally critical Tier-0 platform and infrastructure teams.
• Preferred: deep experience with Linux internals, distributed systems troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Preferred: recognized authority in DPU programming, such as P4/Pensando/AMD or DOCA/BlueField, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Preferred: a track record of publications, open-source leadership, or conference speaking.

• We work closely with product managers, architects, and business leaders to shape roadmaps and deliver high-impact outcomes.
• We lead thorough code and design reviews, operational readiness efforts, and adoption of best practices across the organization.
• We represent OCI TSO in cross-organizational initiatives, executive briefings, and industry forums.
• We deliver technical leadership in designing, architecting, and launching greenfield cloud services and platforms from concept through production at global scale.
• We drive the development of new container runtimes and distributed frameworks for OCIs most demanding workloads.
• We advance high-performance persistent storage and networking solutions and help define standards for core data-plane components and developer tools.
