Senior PT/OT Technician, Outpatient Department: 05602 WFBMG University Group Practice: Kernersville Sports Complex - Outpatient Rehabilitation Employment: Full time; Hours: 40 per week; Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Job Summary Under the direction of a PT/OT or PT/OT Assistant, the Senior Physical and Occupational Therapy technician assists in providing high quality therapeutic patient care for patients of all ages, ensuring positive outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining records, scheduling, supervising volunteers, ordering supplies, maintaining treatment areas, and performing general office functions. Responsibilities Assist with patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist, or assistant. Manage inventory and distribute departmental supplies. Maintain and log departmental statistics; assist in patient chart maintenance. Keep treatment areas safe, clean, and inspect therapeutic equipment monthly. Schedule new and return patient appointments as needed. Perform clerical tasks to support regulatory compliance, including Medicare certification renewals, no‑show tracking, and follow‑up calls. Promote professional growth and provide community education and committee representation. Perform other position‑related duties as assigned. Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma required. At least 2 years of college coursework in anatomy, exercise physiology, or health and sports science preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR for Healthcare Professionals, Level C required. Strong attention to detail, excellent team and patient communication, flexibility, organization, and time‑management skills. Experience with EPIC and scheduling preferred but not required.
