**Join Our Dynamic Operating Room Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Operating Room - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) - **Experience Required:** 1 year(s) **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional patient care in the operating room environment - Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including: - Thoracic - Lobe resection - Lung resection - Thoracotomy - Thoracotomy - General Surgery - Appendectomy - Cholecystectomy - Colon resection - Inguinal/Umbilical hernia repair - Laparoscopic assisted procedures - Thyroidectomy (partial/total) - Orthopedic - Arthroscopy - Closed reduction of fractures - Laminectomy/discectomy - Open reduction of fractures - Ortho/Spine - Spinal Fusion - Total joint replacement - Urology - Cystoscopy - Laparoscopic assisted cases - Nephrectomy - Prostatectomy - Transurethral resection of the prostate - Manage emergency situations effectively, utilizing skills in: - Fire Safety - Infection control - Ensure proper use and management of equipment/instrumentation/supplies, including: - Cell saver - Uphold professional knowledge and skills in: - Administration of blood & blood products - Laser Safety - Radiation Safety - Specimen Handling/Labeling - Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedures - Wound Management **Additional Requirements:** - Must be willing to float to alternate locations - Variable start times (7, 9, or 3 pm) - Certifications: - ACLS (preferred) - BLS (required) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
