Job Description

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic radiologic procedures on patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images adhering to established protocols.
• Process and evaluate radiographs for quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain patient safety by following radiation safety guidelines and protecting patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver precise imaging results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, proper calibration, and safety checks are performed regularly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
• Possess ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT).
• Successfully completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
• Have at least 3 years of professional radiology experience, including CT.
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
