Assistant Director of IT

Salary: $50,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven experience working in information technology.
• Strong understanding of application development, software development life cycle (SDLC), and system design principles.
• Solid expertise in information security practices and risk mitigation approaches.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure planning and implementation.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate complex technical challenges.
• Experience with change management processes in an IT environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Ability to teach computer science and applications courses is also desired.

• Support our Director of Information Technology in ensuring our systems and applications align with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement our IT strategy to advance business objectives and operational priorities.
• Manage application development initiatives and ensure delivery on time and to quality standards.
• Oversee information security controls to safeguard sensitive information and support regulatory compliance.
• Review our current IT infrastructure and recommend enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Lead change management efforts during technology upgrades and system rollouts.
• Supervise help desk operations and ensure technical issues are resolved promptly for end users.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design effective network infrastructure solutions.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, including AI, and identify ways to apply innovative solutions within our organization.
