- Carry out thorough assessments of patients, order necessary diagnostic evaluations, and devise customized care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently based on your certifications
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding preventative measures, wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribe treatments and medications that align with your practice scope
- Engage in follow-up care and chronic disease management for improved patient outcomes
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive, holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a warm, caring approach
- Outstanding communication abilities when interacting with patients, families, and clinical personnel
- Flexibility to adapt in high-paced, patient-centered scenarios
- Fluency in EMR systems as well as familiarity with telehealth technologies
- A collaborative spirit and dedication to evidence-based practices
