AVP, Digital Servicing Product Owner

Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose: Our Digital Servicing applications and platforms are visited by 1B visitors annually and are the virtual face of the brands we support. We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the identification, development and launch of various Consumer Servicing enhancements and releases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have experience working in a matrixed environment with technical development teams, strong project management and Agile skills with a focus on Digital products and proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and exceeding adoption targets. This position will report to the VP, Native Mobile App & SyPI Leader.This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. We’re proud to offer you choice and flexibility.Essential Responsibilities:Partner with multiple internal and external sources to gather market intelligence and user VOC, and translate the results into detailed product requirements.Oversight and leadership of the wing-to-wing product development cycle including build, test, launch and adoption.Partner with key stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Client Teams and Compliance to identify and prioritize future features to deliver to market.Work with internal and external partners to create screen prototypes / wireframes, gather feedback and adjust to optimize performance.Partner with Digital Analytics team to closely monitor, analyze and optimize usage patterns.Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for various Digital service releases.Support and aid in any Legal/Compliance items related to the digital platforms.Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree; high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of Project Management experienceA minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably IT Project Management2+ years of experience leading software development projectsDesired Characteristics:Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environmentHigh energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills and experience working with external clients & technical development teams.Ability to adapt to varying scenarios and cater presentations and style based on the audienceExperience with Agile software development framework, acting in the Product Owner roleExperience in the credit card or financial services industryCuriosity and passion for learning about new technologies and identifying ways to drive innovationSelf-aware and adaptableExcellent analytical and presentation skills within all levels of the organization.
