About the Position

Job Title: OB/MedSurg RN (L&D) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: - Telemetry experience preferred - Pediatric experience preferred Description: This clinician will predominantly care for MedSurg patients but must be capable of handling Labor and Delivery cases as they arise. If any OB patients come in, they will be placed on the appropriate floor. Two L&D nurses are preferred on the floor during deliveries. This role involves working in a small, critical access hospital, so there will be a variety of patient types. Shifts are primarily 12 hours and may include some night shifts, but there is flexibility with days. This facility is very traveler-friendly. Training will be provided for the charting system used.
