Program & Event Coordinator - Contract

About the Role: We're looking for a Program & Event Coordinator , engaged as a contractor, to keep our events, webinars and member programs running smoothly. You'll be a versatile all-rounder for the marketing team, owning logistics end-to-end and stepping in wherever support is needed. You'll report to the Events Manager and work closely with marketing colleagues, the Director of Certification, and our members, committees and member leaders. Webinars Produce webinars on the LoRa Alliance webinar platform: setup, speaker management, recording and post-event follow-up. Work with the marketing team on promotion assets and website updates for each webinar. Event reporting and leads Process event leads promptly and deliver them to the marketing team. Produce post-event reports covering attendee and staff feedback, ROI metrics and recommendations for future participation. Drive member participation in events through calls for participation, internal communications and sponsorship outreach. Act as a friendly, responsive point of contact for members on event and program questions. Marketing support Provide versatile day-to-day support across the marketing team's campaigns and projects. Make website content updates. Coordinate the LoRa Alliance learning hub, keeping content current and organized. Budget and expense tracking Track budgets for assigned events and programs and report status regularly. Manage invoices accurately and on time. Track and submit your own expenses in line with LoRa Alliance policy. Certification Committee support Taking notes at the Certification Committee meetings (once or twice a month) Setting up online meetings for Certification Committee and its subgroups Make website content updates. What We’re Looking For Required 3 - 5+ years' experience in events, marketing, program coordination or related field, including internships. Exceptional organization: you juggle many deadlines and details without dropping any. Clear, professional written and verbal communication in English. Comfort with numbers and tracking budgets, invoices and expenses accurately. Confidence with everyday tools: Microsoft 365, spreadsheets and video-conferencing platforms. A versatile, can-do attitude and willingness to pick up new tasks as priorities shift. Based in the US, preferably on the East Coast, and available from 8:00 a.m. ET. Able to travel around 5 times a year, within the US and internationally. Nice to have Experience with a webinar platform, CMS (such as WordPress) or event registration tool. Exposure to tradeshows, member organizations or B2B technology. Interest in IoT or wireless technology. Why Join Us?
