Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist and/or Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Buyer Level 3 or 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals in Oklahoma City, OK.

Essential Functions:

• Sources and procures goods and services of a commodity nature from many suppliers
• Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers
• In conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules
• Works with internal customers to ensure specifications are appropriate for the services or products required
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and manage risk through targeted negotiations
• Issues purchase orders
• Manages performance of purchase orders, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
• Employs sound business practices and assesses supplier performance as part of follow-up activities
• Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization so that proper receipt is recorded
• Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed
• Utilizes process tools such as Lean Six Sigma with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency and continuous improvement

Position(s) may be filled as a Level 3 or Level 2 based on the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications (Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Level 3):

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or forecast and inventory cost management.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, presentations. (i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• The ability to collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, work successfully in a fast- paced environment and apply sound judgment to problem solving
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain special program access
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
• Knowledge of CPSR and government audits
• US Citizenship required

Basic Qualifications (Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Level 2):

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree or a High School diploma/equivalent with 6 years of related experience in global supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or forecast and inventory cost management.
• Prior Government or Aerospace buying experience
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, presentations. (i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• The ability to collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, work successfully in a fast- paced environment and apply sound judgment to problem solving
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain special program access
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications for both:

• Aerospace/Defense industry experience
• Price analysis experience
• Negotiation experience
• Managing Suppliers
• Background in government procurement with familiarity of FAR/DFARS
• Import / Export (ITAR) experience for movement of materials and technology
• Familiar with SAP/S4 and/or Maximo procurement systems
• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $56,500.00 - $84,700.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $70,100.00 - $105,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
