*Job Overview* We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex fabrication projects from inception to completion. * Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet, incorporating scope management, risk mitigation, and cost control strategies.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
* Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and Kaizen methodologies to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage project budgets by monitoring expenditures, conducting variance analysis with earned value management techniques, and negotiating vendor contracts.
* Oversee technical project & program management activities including root cause analysis, process mapping, and quality management to ensure optimal project outcomes.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams through effective meeting facilitation, conflict management, and communication of project stakeholder updates via platforms like SharePoint or Confluence. *Requirements** Proven experience supervising fabrication or manufacturing projects with a strong background in technical project & program management supervisory roles.
* Demonstrated expertise in program development, scope management, risk management, and project scheduling using tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or VersionOne.
* Strong leadership skills with a history of team management, team leadership, and fostering cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
* Proficiency in data analysis skills including Excel data analysis and data collection techniques to inform decision-making processes.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality standards and deadlines.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure projects and vendor management practices is preferred.
* Effective communication skills for requirements analysis, requirements management, presentation delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
* Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
