Work Environment\nThis role is positioned within a remote outpatient setting, providing therapists the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining an effective and supportive delivery of care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular consultations and training to ensure the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities\nAs a mental health counselor at Thrive, your daily responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks, including:

- Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and establish personalized treatment plans. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist clients in overcoming their trauma. \n
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, teaching coping mechanisms, and encouraging personal growth. \n
- Collaborating with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support for each patient. \n
- Providing crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies. \n
- Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, equipping them with coping strategies and resources for ongoing recovery. \n
- Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. \n
- Participating in professional development activities, including team meetings and trainings focused on trauma-informed care practices. \n
The primary focus of our practice is individuals affected by trauma, including those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clientele comprises diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring a therapist who can adapt their approach to meet each client's specific circumstances. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through difficult emotional landscapes, empowering them towards recovery and a renewed sense of self.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida. \n
- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with trauma-affected populations. \n
- In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatments. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor in all interactions. \n
- Adeptness in handling high-stress situations with calmness and professionalism. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated software applications to streamline documentation and client tracking. \n
Although not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

- Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and TF-CBT. \n
- A background working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care. \n
