Role Summary What You'll Be Engaged In

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondaccording to established guidelines.
• Scrutinize results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and help uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering strictly to regulatory and accreditation benchmarks.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
