Registered Nurse – CVICU (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular surgical patients and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with ventricular assist devices (VADs), intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABPs), or ECMO
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity ICU environment
