Analyst-Financial Senior

Finance Position Overview: Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established policies and procedures to reflect operating results and financial position. Creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data. Maintains data integrity within the data warehouses of all available financial information systems and demonstrates proficiency with core financial systems, decision support, data warehouse tools, and PC financial applications to complete internal and external work products. Prepares monthly journal entries for month‑end reporting deadlines, prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations, assists with the annual audit process (interim and year end), and ensures compliance with GAAP accounting policies. Completes assigned goals. Responsibilities Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established policies and procedures to reflect operating results and financial position. Creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data. Demonstrates ability to evaluate and maintain data integrity within the data warehouses of all available financial information systems. Demonstrates computer proficiency with all system financial information systems, including core transaction systems, decision support system, data warehouse, and PC Financial Application tools to complete internal and external work products. Prepares monthly journal entries for month end reporting deadlines. Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assists with the annual audit process for both interim and year end. Maintains and adheres to GAAP accounting policies. Completes assigned goals. Qualifications Minimum Required: 2 years work experience. Recent hospital experience in decision support, budget or accounting. Preferred/Desired: 3 years experience in healthcare. Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
