Site Safety Coordinator

Role Description The Site Safety Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in Franklin, TN. This position is responsible for overseeing daily safety practices on active construction sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Key tasks include conducting safety inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, coordinating safety meetings, and providing ongoing training and coaching to site personnel. The Site Safety Coordinator will investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, prepare reports, and collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to implement corrective actions. The role also involves maintaining safety documentation, promoting a culture of safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects. Qualifications Candidates should possess Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with the ability to apply them in a construction environment. Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, including awareness of regulatory requirements and environmental risk controls. Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, including experience delivering toolbox talks, orientations, and ongoing safety education. Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root cause analysis, incident documentation, and development of corrective actions. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards; relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST, CSP) are preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with field crews, supervisors, and management. Ability to perform site walks, use safety inspection tools, and maintain accurate records; proficiency with basic office software is beneficial.
