Merchandising Lead

Position Summary Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and delivering guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, purchasing decisions, merchandise location, and issue resolution. Assist management in supervising associates, assigning duties, communicating goals, training on service processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage inventory, merchandising, and safety procedures, and oversee club pick‑up order picking and staging. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to implement business practices, drive continuous improvement, and uphold company values. Responsibilities Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and offering guidance. Assist members with technology use, purchasing decisions, merchandise location, and issue resolution. Support management with supervising associates, assigning duties, communicating goals, training, coaching, and evaluating employees. Create and maintain sales floor, merchandising, equipment use, and paperwork logs in compliance with company procedures. Maintain facility safety, conduct safety sweeps, and handle hazardous materials per policies. Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation meet company standards; handle claims, returns, and property protection. Monitor product quality, rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards. Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders to match company policy. Develop and apply processes and practices to meet business needs, analyze information, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders. Promote compliance with ethics and standards, apply the Open Door Policy, and assist management with correcting issues. Lead and participate in teams, share resources, determine client needs, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and model change adaptability. Foster a workplace of belonging, respect diversity, and uphold Walmart values and integrity. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. At least 6 months of retail experience and 6 months of customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading and supervising a team, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workloads. Compensation Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00. The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
