Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Active Louisiana physical therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Ability to adapt intervention strategies for diverse developmental levels
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Evaluate students motor abilities and develop targeted treatment plans and goals
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to help meet IEP objectives
• Document progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state requirements
• Engage families, teachers, and specialists in supporting student mobility and participation within the school setting
• Provide recommendations for classroom and campus modifications to facilitate accessibility and safety
• Participate in team meetings, interviews, or observations as needed
