ABOUT OUR AGENCY: Our agency opened in 2011 and is a close-knit team of six who work together to support our customers and each other. Before becoming an agent, I had a background in recruiting and also worked as a State Farm team member, which helped shape my approach to building a strong, people-focused team.

I'm a graduate of Western Illinois University and a proud wife and parent of two college-aged children. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and catching local live music. We're also a dog-loving household with two pups.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Julie Meyers - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $37,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
