POSITION SUMMARY 
Job Status:  Full-Time 
Reports To: Copper Lead Mechanic 
Travel: Daily-Primarily Local Jobsites 
Positions Supervised: Copper Helper 
Welding, brazing, and soldering copper systems associated with HVAC equipment on New Construction 
and Tenant Finish jobsites.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
 Install HVAC piping systems and components in a variety of building types and locations. 
 Assist in the coordination of labor for the installation of HVAC systems in an efficient and 
controlled manner. 
 Adhere to industry and company standards regarding safety and installation practices while on the 
jobsite. 
 Train new helpers through example and demonstration. 
 Provide direction to helpers to facilitate completion of tasks. 
 Operation of multiple types of equipment (scissor lifts, ladders, etc.) related to the installation of 
HVAC systems.

REQUIREMENTS 
Education:  High school diploma or equivalent 
Experience:  2+ years related work experience 
Computer Skills:  N/A 
Certificates & Licenses: Valid Texas Drivers License 
Other: Ability to read and understand mechanical and architectural plans as related to HVAC 
systems. Working knowledge of HVAC copper piping systems, their components and functions.
