Job Title: Aircraft Inspector Job Description The Aircraft Inspector performs detailed inspections of repairs, overhauls, and modifications on fixed-wing aircraft, ensuring all work meets applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role focuses on maintenance activities for Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, and Gulfstream aircraft, using a fully equipped and properly organized toolbox. Responsibilities Inspect repairs, overhauls, and modifications on fixed-wing airframes, including Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, and Gulfstream aircraft. Verify that all maintenance work complies with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and manufacturer specifications. Perform detailed aircraft inspections to identify discrepancies, defects, or non-conformities in structures, systems, and components. Review and validate maintenance documentation, work orders, and records to confirm accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with aircraft maintenance technicians to clarify findings and ensure corrective actions are properly completed. Use troubleshooting skills to help diagnose issues discovered during inspections and recommend appropriate repair actions. Ensure proper use and care of inspection tools and equipment, including maintaining a toolbox with shadowed and etched tools. Support heavy maintenance and modification projects by providing timely inspection sign-offs and quality assurance feedback. Maintain a high level of safety awareness and follow established safety procedures while working in and around aircraft. Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes and maintenance practices by providing feedback and suggestions. Essential Skills Minimum of 4+ years of on-aircraft experience inspecting repairs, overhauls, and modifications on fixed-wing airframes. Hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, including heavy maintenance and modification work. Strong inspection skills with the ability to identify defects and non-conformities in aircraft structures and systems. Experience working on Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, or Gulfstream aircraft. Proficiency in troubleshooting aircraft issues discovered during inspections. Must hold either an Airframe or Powerplant license. Ability to read and interpret maintenance documentation, technical manuals, and regulatory requirements. Ownership of a toolbox with tools that are properly shadowed and etched for organization and accountability. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively with maintenance teams in a fast-paced, operational environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with a variety of fixed-wing aircraft types, particularly business and regional aircraft. Background in aircraft modification programs and heavy maintenance checks. Strong communication skills for coordinating with technicians and maintenance leadership. Organizational skills to manage documentation and inspection records accurately. Ability to adapt to changing maintenance priorities and schedules. Work Environment This role is based in an active aircraft maintenance facility, working directly on Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, and Gulfstream aircraft. The environment involves heavy maintenance and modification activities, with frequent hands-on work in and around aircraft on the hangar floor. You will use a personally owned toolbox with tools that are shadowed and etched to maintain organization and control. The work setting is fast-paced and safety-focused, requiring adherence to maintenance procedures, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and readiness to support varying maintenance schedules and project demands. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bethany, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
