Labor and Delivery Registered NurseLabor and Delivery night shift position. Candidates must have NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required, with prior travel experience preferred. The role involves handling a patient ratio of 6 on nights. Candidates should have experience with Cerner charting system. Skills required include administration of blood and blood products, management of high-risk deliveries, and support for breastfeeding. Other responsibilities include conducting sterile vaginal exams, monitoring fetal heart rates, and performing triage of obstetrical patients. The facility has an average of 100-300 births per month. Compliance with all required protocols and procedures is expected. This position may require weekend coverage, with a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team are essential. Candidates must be able to maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control practices.
