Title: Assistant Volleyball Coach (Monthly Stipend) Position Number: PT6007 Unit/Department: Women's Volleyball FTE: Part-Time Salary: Monthly stipend Department Summary: Drake University's Athletics Department competes in the Missouri Valley Conference at the NCAA Division I level. Job Summary: Drake University is seeking applicants for a part-time assistant coach. The successful candidate will support a positive academic, athletic, and social environment for student-athletes while creating a culture of excellence and ethics.

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to build rapport and students, coaches and staff.
• Skills to help student-athletes improve through training / coaching.
• Ability to complete work within deadlines under little guidance.
• Ability to develop and sustain relationships with prospective student athletes, parents, and coaches.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge and basic proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of applicable NCAA Rules and regulations.
• Experience playing at the collegiate level preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level preferred
