Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Description As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will provide a wide variety of services to funeral homes, preneed counselors, agents, marketing organizations, account executives, and policy owners with a focus on supporting Spanish-speaking customers, policy owners, and agents in both oral and written communications. You’ll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues to help our customers and the families we serve together. Responsibilities Provides highly responsive, time-sensitive, high volume, customer-oriented service designed to enhance company relationships across internal and external individuals. Resolve issues related to accounting, claims, and new business for paper and online methods. Receives and responds to Spanish (primary) and English (secondary) language telephone and written correspondence inquiries, provides information and services related to correspondences. Provides information and services related to new business, claims, policy information and policy changes. Translates and provides written communication received in Spanish and English. Assist agents and funeral homes with online services including enrollment, reporting, administration, system navigation. Work with agents and customers to resolve issues to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and company standards. Assist with commission and compensation questions from customers. Conduct system testing to help ensure integrity of files and proper underwriting are within limits. Requirements Equivalent to high school degree. Completion of a two-year associate degree program in a job-related field is preferred. Completion of LOMA courses in Principles and Operations within two years of employment. Demonstrated fluency in both Spanish and English with both oral and written communication. 1-3+ years of customer service experience in a financial services organization, preferably life insurance, involving extensive inbound and outbound phone work. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products: Outlook and Word. Experience on a LifePro office administration system preferred.
