Facilities Technician

Job Details Job Location: 107 FPR Main Office - Saint Albans, VT Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00Hourly About the Role Are you looking for a hands-on role that offers autonomy and flexibility to manage your own workday? Are you self-directed, comfortable working independently, and experienced in trades or building maintenance? We are expanding our Facilities team and looking for someone like you! NCSS is seeking a Facilities Technician to help maintain our agency locations across Franklin and Chittenden Counties. Responsibilities general repairs and maintenance troubleshooting basic HVAC electrical and plumbing issues completing inspections and small construction projects identifying future building needs coordinating contractors and vendors Requirements A valid driver’s license is required. 1-3 years of related experience is preferred, and a trade or technical background is a plus. Candidates must be self-directed, dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable using an electronic work order system and basic technology. Experience with project management, building automation systems, ADA requirements, and VOSHA compliance is a plus. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with rotating on-call responsibilities.
