At Leidos , we offer competitive benefits. Job Summary We’re looking for a Protocol Analyst to join our team in Fort Meade, Maryland, supporting development operations. This role involves analyzing computer protocols and session reassembly of known and unidentified protocols, providing signal analysis results, and working on tools for analysts. Job Responsibilities Mission Focus : Perform computer protocol analysis and session reassembly of known and unidentified protocols. Recognize the characteristics, functions and formats of different networks. Develop methods, tools and/or computer-based programs to process analytic problems. Technical Proficiency : Disseminate results of signal analysis and provide data to customers and partners. Log signal-related information and update files on signal characteristics in relevant databases. Analyze new algorithms and protocols. Document analytic tradecraft and methodology. Interpret output of specialized tools and computer-based programs. Security Clearance Requirement : Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to be considered for this role. Desirable Skills : Deep understanding of data link layer OSI model, network stack, and network architecture. Packet Capture (PCAP) Analysis and use of Wireshark. Experience with hybrid cloud architectures integrating private cloud resources and external services such as data management and O&M. Experience using AMOD tools such as XKS. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience will be considered when the candidate has completed specific military training courses: 451 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis), or has participated in or graduated from the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP). Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00. The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
