Job Details We are seeking a detail oriented Quality Engineer to ensure product and process compliance to customer and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on managing customer concerns and leading root cause investigations within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Act as the primary Quality contact for customer concerns using tools such as 8D and 5 Why. Manage and issue Return Material Authorizations and coordinate internal return processes. Initiate and lead corrective actions with internal teams to ensure effective countermeasures. Support APQP activities including the creation of PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams. Conduct internal audits in accordance with IATF 16949 and layered audit schedules. Lead Measurement System Analysis efforts to validate inspection equipment capability. Qualifications 2+ plus years of quality experience in automotive. Mandatory experience with automotive fastener manufacturing. Deep knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. Proficiency in APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and FMEA. Nice to Haves Bachelor’s degree in a technical field Experience with OEM automotive customer portals highly preferred.
