We're a local insurance agency in Broken Arrow building a small production team. We provide leads, the systems you need to work them, structured development and ongoing service support. Your job is to have good conversations, understand what someone actually needs, explain their options clearly, and earn the business when we're the right fit.

We don't expect every conversation to end in a sale. We do expect you to know the difference between helping someone make a decision and pressuring someone into one.

HOW COMPENSATION WORKS

This is a W-2 position with a structured development period and performance-based commission.

During your first 120 days, qualified producers may receive a recoverable monthly development draw of $2,000 or $2,500 under a separately signed draw addendum. The draw is an advance against earned commissions, not additional salary.

Your commission percentage increases as your production grows rather than remaining at one flat rate.

New-business commission tiers range from 60% to 70% of the agency commission attributable to eligible business under the compensation plan.

Renewal commission opportunities range from 20% to 30% as you progress through the production tiers.

There is also a defined path toward additional responsibility and leadership compensation for producers who demonstrate sustained production and the ability to help other people develop.

We'll explain the compensation agreement in detail before you make a decision. You shouldn't have to take a job without understanding how you're paid.

REALISTIC JOB PREVIEW

This is a sales job.

There are goals. There are phone calls. There is follow-up. Some people won't call you back. Some will tell you no. Some days will be better than others.

We're not going to disguise that.

But you also won't be expected to manufacture pressure just to get a sale. Sometimes doing the job correctly means making the sale. Sometimes it means continuing the conversation. And sometimes it means respecting someone's decision and moving on.

Responsibilities

- Work agency-provided leads and follow up consistently with prospective clients.

- Ask good questions before recommending coverage instead of jumping straight into a quote.

- Explain insurance clearly enough that clients understand what they're buying and what they're not.

- Quote and sell new business while maintaining an organized pipeline and accurate follow-up.

- Continue developing your insurance knowledge, communication skills and production ability through coaching and practical training.

Requirements

Insurance experience can help, but we're more interested in how you think and how you treat people.

You may fit here if you can:

- Talk comfortably with people without sounding scripted.

- Ask questions and actually listen to the answers.

- Hear "no" without becoming pushy, defensive or defeated.

- Accept coaching while still thinking for yourself.

- Stay organized and follow through when nobody is standing over you.

- Explain something clearly without trying to manipulate someone into agreeing with you.

Insurance licensing is required to perform licensed duties. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be able to meet applicable licensing requirements.
