Caseworker 1 - Children & Youth Services

Responsibilities Performs service planning on intakes to include completion of intake documentation Investigates reports of mistreatment and abuse of children Performs home visits with families to develop family service plans Performs out of home placement duties Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social science OR Two year’s experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level coursework which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social science OR Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar position Compensation and Benefits Compensation includes a starting salary of $21.36/hour.
