Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed05:30 AM - 05:30 PMThur05:30 AM - 05:30 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and communications-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Help support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
