Quality Inspector - Manual Inspection

A leading precision manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to support first-shift inspection activities within an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in performing hands-on dimensional inspections, ensuring product quality, and helping maintain inspection throughput for precision, tight-tolerance components. What You'll Do Perform manual dimensional inspections of precision manufactured components. Use inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauge pins, Deltronic pins, and drop indicators. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements. Document inspection results and identify nonconformances or dimensional discrepancies. Support production by helping move parts efficiently through the inspection and release - process. Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve inspection issues and maintain quality standards. Requirements Hands-on manual inspection experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, precision machining, or another regulated manufacturing environment. Proficiency using manual inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauge pins, Deltronic pins, and indicators. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Working knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection best practices. Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance mechanical components preferred. CMM inspection exposure, Zeiss Calypso experience, or AS9100 experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr RBW Consulting
