Analytical Revenue Cycle Specialist

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Analytical Revenue Cycle Specialist. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the revenue cycle system, working closely with billing, coding, and department leaders to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.

Job Summary

You will develop reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators to enhance operational outcomes. Your responsibilities include supporting revenue capture, managing workflows, performing data analysis, and assisting patients with insurance enrollment, including Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Support revenue cycle operations to maximize cash flow and revenue returns.
• Conduct audits and productivity reporting to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Design and develop data extraction and reporting tools to meet financial objectives.
• Maintain accurate charge capture processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Serve as a resource for internal and external customers, delivering exceptional service.
• Assist patients with insurance enrollment and benefit verification.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve claims and improve processes.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree from an accredited institution required; Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Public Health, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, data analysis, and reporting preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Washington Health Benefit Exchange In-Person Assister Certification required at hire or within 90 days.

Skills and Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of patient access, coding, chargemaster, and billing workflows.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and insurance verification systems.
