Senior Human Resources Information System Analyst

Target Range : $85,000 /Yr. - $125,000 /Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10% The VP, HR Information Systems is a strategic leader responsible for shaping, advancing, and optimizing Axos’ HR technology ecosystem to support business growth and workforce excellence. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to ensure HR systems, most notably Workday, are thoughtfully designed, seamlessly integrated, and tightly aligned with organizational objectives. Embedded within a highly accomplished HRIS team, this leader will collaborate alongside seasoned professionals known for their deep expertise, innovation, and commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Managing the organization’s HRIS activities and projects, including the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement. Consulting and advising on product implementation strategies, upgrades, and integration processes with existing products. Maintaining internal databases and tables; developing custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Translating client requirements into development specifications; ensuring that products adhere to corresponding business needs. Providing deep subject‑matter expertise in Workday. Analyzing business information processes; creating, integrating, and modifying processes to meet business needs. Ensuring the upgrade of organizational HRIS and leading the development, implementation, and modification of system requirements. End‑to‑end configuration of Workday Core. Identifying the training needs of HRIS end users and developing and providing the necessary training. Translating business processes into Workday capabilities and co‑designing end‑to‑end solutions with business stakeholders, leveraging technology and data to deliver outcomes and ensure delightful customer experiences. Developing proof of concepts (validate technical feasibility before full development) and prototypes to support new systems or processes, sharing findings with stakeholders to confirm business alignment. Ensuring data integrity and establishing data‑governance practices through comprehensive documentation of processes, business requirements, data dictionaries, and system configurations. Partnering with Product HR Business Partners to drive discussions and ensure the necessary data for design and requirement decisions is readily available. Understanding the end‑to‑end tech and data solution and collaborating across tech and data teams for integrations with internal and external platforms. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline. 8+ years of relevant experience. 2+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 Enterprise. 1+ year of experience with Active Directory. Strong skill set in data architecture and management. In‑depth understanding of end‑to‑end impacts on processes related to HCM and Payroll. Working knowledge of Workday security, reporting, and alerts configuration. Experience integrating with third‑party vendors. Preferred but not required: 1+ year of experience with SailPoint.
