Overview Saks Global is a leading multi‑brand luxury retailer offering an exceptional shopping experience across flagship stores and digital platforms. Responsibilities Support the planning and buying teams during pre‑ and in‑season planning processes. Assist planners in developing pre‑season sales, profit and inventory targets and identifying opportunities and liabilities in season. Maintain daily and weekly reports for the merchant team and regularly analyze business at vendor, product category and classification levels to drive the business. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to align on business goals and needs. Prepare pre‑market buy recommendations related to style breadth and unit depth by vendor and channel. Qualifications Post‑secondary education or commensurate retail experience. 1–2 years in buying, planning or allocation capacity. Fundamental understanding of retail math and inventory management. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with merchandising systems. Natural problem‑solver with financial and analytical lens; proactive, detail‑oriented and solution‑oriented.
