Recycle Center Sorter
Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Plainfield, IL.

Pay rate: $17.00/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly.
(overtime is time and a half after 40)
Schedule: 2:00pm start time normally finishing around 10:30-11:00pm.
Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials.
- Will sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
- Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
- Assuming custodial duties as needed.
- Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
